Rome, June 20 (LaPresse) – The VAT rate on works of art "is being reduced from 22% to 5%. This allows for fair competition, and for Italy it means taking the lead," announced Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli during a press conference at the Spadolini Hall. "The previous situation clearly placed the entire sector at a disadvantage in the international market," the minister added.
