Rome, 1 July (LaPresse) – "The private sector must also help Ukraine in its reconstruction, so it is obvious that we should continue to work hard to support this country from all angles: politically, economically and militarily. Reconstruction is also carried out during ongoing wars. We hope that the war will end as soon as possible, but we must ask Putin when he intends to back down. I have always said that the ceasefire would be achieved before the end of the year, but I hope I will not be proven wrong." This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of a Forza Italia event in the Chamber of Deputies.
