Rome, 15 July (LaPresse) – "Italy and Austria are linked by an ancient bond that is stronger than ever today. Italy is a natural bridge between Mediterranean and continental Europe, just as Austria is the link between the two lungs of Europe, the eastern and western ones. Our common vocation is to network and form a system with European nations. This is the basis for the intense cooperation we have initiated on many fronts." This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in her remarks to the press at the end of the bilateral meeting at Palazzo Chigi with Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker.
