Rome, Aug. 5 (LaPresse) – When will the center-right candidates for the regional elections be announced? "I don’t think there’s much unity even in the so-called ‘broad alliance’. In Puglia and Campania, for example, they still don’t have a candidate. I’m convinced that, just as we did in Marche and Calabria—where the good governance of Acquaroli and Occhiuto is being reaffirmed—we should do the same in Veneto. With the many mayors and administrators the League has, a candidate will be found that the allies will have no choice but to support. I believe those who have governed well should continue to do so—this goes for Marche, Calabria, and also Veneto. We have a strong leadership class, and I believe we can easily share our candidate with our allies and continue the good governance we’ve seen so far in Veneto."
These were the words of the League’s deputy federal secretary and Undersecretary for Labour, Claudio Durigon, during a party press conference at the Chamber of Deputies ahead of the regional elections in Campania and Puglia.
