The Italian economy is attractive and is performing better than others thanks to the stability and credibility of our nation.’ This is what we read in a note from Palazzo Chigi. ‘Italy does not apply unjustified tax incentives to attract European companies and, with this government, has even doubled the flat-rate tax burden in force since 2016 on individuals who transfer their residence to Italy,’ the statement continued. . ‘Italy has, in fact, been penalised for many years by so-called “European tax havens”, which deprive our public coffers of considerable resources.
