Milan, Sept. 3 (LaPresse) – “Absolutely not, and not on impulse, but based on rational elements.”
This is how Milan’s mayor Beppe Sala responded when asked about the possibility of resigning if the council does not approve the resolution to sell the San Siro stadium to the clubs.
“I’m not someone who gives up easily when faced with difficulties, but I think a mayor should resign if there is a decision that undermines the functioning of the administration. For example, if the budget is not approved, it’s clear you have to go. In a case like this, no,” Sala explained on the sidelines of the commemoration of General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa.
