Rome, Sept. 26 (LaPresse) – "In today's control room, we are presenting the proposed revision of the NRRP, which will then be sent to Parliament for evaluation and subsequently sent to the European Commission for approval. The proposed revision follows the guidelines provided by the European Commission on June 4 and is the result of the review carried out by the NRRP Task Force together with all the ministries and administrations responsible for measures and projects. The proposed revision resulting from this work allows us to overcome several critical issues and allocate resources more efficiently, including through the use of new financial instruments." This was stated, according to reports, by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, speaking at the NRRP Steering Committee meeting currently underway at Palazzo Chigi. “In particular,” added the prime minister, “we have planned to include new measures that can be implemented within the very tight deadlines set out in the Plan and to strengthen those interventions that are producing results above expectations, with particular attention to competitiveness, infrastructure enhancement, and the social and territorial cohesion of our nation.” “It is a task with which we aim to maintain Italy's European leadership in the implementation of the NRRP, which has recently been recognized by the International Monetary Fund, which spoke of Italy's ‘rigorous implementation of the Plan,’” Meloni emphasized.
