Rome, 13 October (LaPresse) – The meeting between the government and employers' and trade organisations to discuss priorities and proposals for the upcoming Budget Law has begun in the Green Room of Palazzo Chigi. According to reports, the meeting, chaired by Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano, was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, Ministers Giancarlo Giorgetti (Economy), Adolfo Urso (Industry and Made in Italy), Marina Calderone (Labour and Social Policies) and Tommaso Foti (European Affairs, NRRP, Cohesion Policies). Also present were Undersecretary Luigi Sbarra and Stefano Caldoro, advisor to the Prime Minister for Relations with Social Partners. Representatives of employers' and trade organisations were present from Confindustria, ABI, Casartigiani, CIA, CNA, Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Confapi, Confartigianato, Confcommercio, Confcooperative, Confesercenti, Confetra, Confprofessioni, Conftrasporto, Copagri, Legacoop and Unsic. This was followed by a meeting with representatives from ANIA, AGCI, Ance; Anpit; Assonime; Cnl; Confedilizia; Confimprese Italia; Confimi Industria; Confitarma; Conflavoro Pmi; Confservizi; Federdistribuzione; Federterziario; and Finco.
