Rome, 16 October (LaPresse) – "Cyber is now the fifth operational domain of security, alongside land, sea, air and space. Defending it requires dedicated, constant and integrated capabilities. This is where the idea of a national cyber weapon with a civil and military component capable of operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year takes shape. This force must combine advanced technical skills, digital intelligence, immediate response capabilities and operational resilience. An initial structure should be launched with 1,200-1,500 units, most of which will be operational, but the goal is to achieve a larger, fully autonomous workforce capable of acting effectively across the entire spectrum of threats. This was stated by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto in a video message broadcast at ComoLake.
