Milan, Oct. 19 (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen won the 2025 United States Grand Prix of Formula 1 at the Austin circuit in Texas, reopening the fight for the world championship. The Dutch Red Bull driver, who had already won the sprint race, took the lead in the early stages and kept his advantage to the finish. Second place went to McLaren’s Lando Norris, who prevailed in an exciting duel with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, third. Fourth position for the other Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton, while Australian Oscar Piastri – the championship leader – finished fifth, seeing his lead in the standings shrink. Italian Antonelli finished 13th after contact with Carlos Sainz.
