Rome, 7 November (LaPresse) – "As president of CNEL, a constitutional body called upon to give voice to and represent the social partners, I do not want the legitimate application of a fair ruling by the Constitutional Court to lead to exploitation that could damage the credibility of the institution I preside over and, as a result, negatively affect political debate and government action. For these reasons, I will revoke with immediate effect the decision taken by the Presidency regarding the implementation. I am doing so with a sense of responsibility and with the intention of protecting the prestige of the CNEL, while preserving a climate of respect and collaboration between all political, institutional and social components." This is what CNEL President Renato Brunetta said in a statement.
