Rome, 10 November (LaPresse) – "A serious and bleak picture is emerging regarding the management of the Data Protection Authority, which calls for a strong signal of discontinuity. I believe there is no alternative to the resignation of the entire board. Journalistic investigations by Report have revealed an opaque management system, characterised by numerous conflicts of interest and a high degree of political influence. Without a clean slate and a fresh start, it will be impossible to rebuild citizens' trust in the institution that is supposed to protect their rights and ensure the necessary impartiality of the board, including with regard to politics." So said PD secretary Elly Schlein.
