Milan, Nov. 11 (LaPresse) – “The board of the Data Protection Authority will not submit its resignation,” said the president of the Authority, Pasquale Stanzione, in an interview with Tg1 following the controversy related to the Report case. “The accusations made are unfounded. In fact, the Authority has never taken a decision for reasons other than the application of the law, in full independence of judgment,” Stanzione added. “The portrayal of the Authority as subordinate to the government majority is a distortion aimed at delegitimizing its work, especially when decisions are unwelcome or uncomfortable,” continued the president of the Authority.
