Rome, 17 Nov. (LaPresse) – "The conflict in Ukraine shows no signs of easing. The Council notes with concern Russia's relentless pursuit of its territorial annexation goals at any cost. Kiev remains the target of continuous bombing of critical infrastructure and civilians, with serious energy disruptions and numerous casualties; the price paid by the population is increasingly heavy and unfair. The Council confirmed Italy's full support for Ukraine in defending its freedom. The twelfth military aid decree is part of this framework." This is what we read in the statement released by the Quirinale at the end of the Supreme Defence Council meeting.
