Of course, we cannot ignore that this is not the case everywhere, that there are institutions that are in totally unacceptable conditions, there are institutions where there are no similar activities." These were the words of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking at the inauguration of Eugenio Tibaldi's permanent installation “Benu” at the Rebibbia Women's Prison. “This message, which comes from fifty years of the Italian prison system, must be taken up, developed and put into practice. That is why I am delighted to be here and to have spent these moments with you, to emphasise how important these paths of cultural and professional involvement and future prospects, which are ensured and developed, are for our country and its society”.
