Rome, Feb. 10 (LaPresse) – "Today in Strasbourg, with the vote on the new regulation for the so-called 'safe' countries, we saw the worst of Europe at work: the one that undermines the right to asylum, that does not recognize the most basic human rights." This is stated by Nicola Fratoianni of AVS. "We saw that Europe that turns its back on the founding reasons of the Union, on the reasons," concludes the SI leader, "of dignity and respect for rights. We will continue to fight because another Europe is possible and necessary."
