Rome, 16 February (LaPresse) – "Following statements made to the press by several opposition leaders and the government's subsequent willingness to report to Parliament on Italy's participation as an observer country in the Board of Peace, all representatives of the parliamentary groups in the Senate have agreed to schedule a hearing with Minister Tajani for Tuesday, 17 February, at 4:45 p.m. before the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committees, with the agreement of the committee chair and the minister, of course. The hearing will be held in committee as it had previously been agreed that this week would be reserved for committee work and, consequently, the approved calendar does not include any plenary sessions on Tuesday'. This was stated by Ignazio La Russa, President of the Senate of the Republic.
