Government: Council of Ministers gives green light to emergency decree on bad weather

Rome, 18 February (LaPresse) – The Council of Ministers, has reportedly given the green light to the decree law containing “urgent measures to deal with the emergency caused by the exceptional weather events that, starting on 18 January 2026, affected the territory of the Calabria Region, the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Sicilian Region, as well as additional urgent measures to deal with the Niscemi landslide and civil protection”.
