Rome, 19 February (LaPresse) – The Milan Cortina Olympics leave us with ‘a great awareness of how extraordinary this nation is’. This is what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said in an interview with Sky Tg24. ‘I get this message,’ she added, "because clearly not only from the public, but there are many heads of state and government who come to follow their athletes in the competition, and they all leave with enormous compliments for the organisation, for an Italy that always manages to amaze. And this is the most important thing for me. Clearly, it is too early for me to take stock, because there are still two days to go, and until the Olympics and then the Paralympics are over, and I am sure that everything has worked as it should, I prefer to remain silent."
