Rome, 5 March (LaPresse) – ‘This is a historic moment, which is why the absence of the Prime Minister in the Chamber is so disappointing.’ These were the words of Matteo Renzi during the general debate in the Senate on the Gulf crisis. ‘The Prime Minister spoke about Iran on RTL 125 and chose not to come and debate with the representatives of the people,’ he added, ‘asking for or simply enduring an intervention by Vice-President Tajani, which I find appalling in its mediocrity.’
