Rome, 10 March (LaPresse) – Giusi Bartolozzi, Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Justice, who is at the centre of a storm over comments made on a television programme against the judiciary, is remaining silent for the moment. However, the request for an apology, reiterated today by Justice Secretary Carlo Nordio, remains, and according to reliable government sources, it is also supported by Palazzo Chigi. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's irritation at the “unfortunate remarks” also remains, according to Palazzo Chigi sources, as it is believed that they could undermine the efforts made so far for the referendum.
