Rome, 14 March (LaPresse) – The Minister for Culture, Alessandro Giuli, “is wrong because the Biennale is an extraordinary and autonomous institution, just as those who did not want certain flags or certain athletes at the Paralympics were wrong. In my view, sport, art, culture, music, theatre and cinema bring people together; at least on that point there should be no conflict.” So said Deputy Prime Minister and League leader Matteo Salvini, speaking to reporters at Ponte Milvio in Rome, where the party has set up one of 1,500 gazebos campaigning for a ‘Yes’ vote in the referendum on justice reform.
