Milan, 11 April (LaPresse) – ‘Today we are witnessing an undignified spectacle: Deputy Prime Minister Salvini is asking Minister Urso, his colleague in government, to do his job. This is the Meloni government: an executive in disarray that is exposing its own incompetence to the Italian people.’ This is the view of Angelo Bonelli, AVS MP and co-spokesperson for Europa Verde, who continues: "The reality is that the government first squandered 1 billion euros of public funds on stopgap measures that proved to be a failure, and now continues to talk about, without taking concrete action, a tax on the windfall profits of energy companies – which, I would remind everyone, amount to over 70 billion euros over three years. It failed to act when it was necessary, choosing instead to support the interests of the major energy groups".
