Rome, Jan. 27 (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner will not play the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam, scheduled from February 3 to 9. The 2025 Australian Open champion announced that he will not be able to defend his title on the indoor hard courts in the Netherlands.
"After consulting with my team, we had to make the difficult decision to withdraw from the ABN AMRO Open. My body needs time to rest after the long run in Australia. I have great memories of winning the title in front of an incredible crowd at Rotterdam Ahoy last year, and I hope to return soon. I wish the whole team a great event," Sinner stated.
His participation in Qatar, however, is confirmed. Sinner will play in Doha for the first time in his career starting on February 17.
