The Bianconeri were unrecognizable and fragile in defense after Kalulu left the field early due to a thigh injury. In the 17th minute, Pavlidis broke the deadlock from close range on an assist from Bah after Gatti missed a header clearance. In the second half, the Portuguese side sealed the match in the 36th minute with Kocku beating Perin after a setup from Pavlidis.
