Milan, March 2 (LaPresse) – Roma beat Como 2-1 in a comeback at the Olimpico, in the postponed match of the 27th day of Serie A, and continue their climb towards the zone for the fight for Europe. Ranieri's team obtained their third victory in a row with great difficulty, against a Como team that once again played an excellent game but left the field empty-handed. The Giallorossi are now on 43 points in the standings, 4 points behind sixth place. Como, on the other hand, remain on 28 points, 6 points above the relegation zone. In Roma, Ranieri fielded Shomurodov and Dybala, with Dovbyk recovered but on the bench. On the right, Soulè was confirmed with Celik moving back into defense. In Como, Fabregas confirmed the talented Nico Paz-Diao tandem in attack. The first half was balanced, with few scoring opportunities, with Roma trying to control the game but Como, with great personality, repelled blow after blow without ever giving up playing. So, after controlling the Giallorossi's outbursts, before the interval, Fabregas's team broke the deadlock on the counterattack with Da Cunha on a perfect pass from Perrone. At the start of the second half, Dovbyk came on for Shomurodov in Roma, and El Shaarawy for Pellegrini. Roma poured forward on the attack, but on the counterattack they always risked leaving themselves open to rapid counterattacks from Paz, Diao and the newly entered Cutrone, who missed a good chance to double their lead. Having escaped the danger, Roma continued to press and in the 61st minute found a deserved equalizer with the newly entered Saelemaekers, who scored with his right foot from the center of the area, assisted by Celik. Como suffered the blow and things went badly for Fabregas' team, who shortly after were reduced to ten men due to the expulsion of Kempf. Roma, however, protested that the advantage was not given when Dovbyk was through on goal. The Ukrainian striker was decisive in the 75th minute, when he scored the goal that made it 2-1, following a splendid flying assist from Rensch from the right. Dovbyk's ninth goal of the season. A thrilling finale, with Como coming close to equalizing with a sensational post by Vojvoda and Roma coming close to a third goal, first with El Shaarawy and then again with Dovbyk.
