Rome, 22nd Mar. (LaPresse) – Federica Brignone has won the overall World Cup for the second time in her career. Due to the cancellation of the men's and women's downhill in Sun Valley, the final stage of the World Cup, the Italian has mathematically won the Crystal Globe after the one she won in 2020 and also the downhill cup for her speciality. In the general classification Federica Brignone leads with 1454 points, 382 points ahead of Switzerland's Lara Gut-Behrami, second with 1072, while in the speciality ranking Brignone still leads with 384 points, ahead of Austria's Cornelia Huetter, second with 368, while Sofia Goggia is third with 350.
