Milan, March 25 (LaPresse) – Louis Thomas Buffon, son of the National team delegation head and former Italian captain Gigi Buffon, scored his first goal for the Czech Republic Under-18 team. The young striker, playing for Pisa in Serie B, netted a goal in the Czech 4-1 victory over France in a friendly match. Initially on the bench and coming on in the second half, Buffon Jr. scored in the 64th minute for a 3-1 lead. This was his second appearance with the Czech Republic U18 team, following his debut against Portugal. Son of Buffon and former model Alena Seredova, Louis Thomas Buffon holds dual citizenship, which is why he has chosen to play for the Czech Republic for now. However, according to international regulations, Buffon Jr. can still choose to play for Italy, as the doors remain open until he makes his official debut with the senior national team.
