Muttenz (Switzerland), 25 Mar (LaPresse) – Former Fifa president Sepp Blatter and former Uefa number one Michel Platini have been acquitted by the Swiss Federal Criminal Court of Appeal of charges of fraud, forgery and embezzlement of more than $2 million in 2011. The Swiss public prosecutor's office had appealed an initial acquittal in July 2022, seeking a 20-month suspended prison sentence against the two former executives.
