Milan, 26 March (LaPresse) – Argentina's poker against Brazil in the ‘Super clasico de las Americas’ valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The albiceleste won 4-1 thanks to goals from Alvarez, Enzo Fernandez, Mac Allister and Giuliano Simeone. For the Greenoros, the flagship goal was scored by Cunha. With the victory against Brazil, Argentina reached 31 points (the result of 10 wins, one draw and one defeat), thus securing the pass for the 2026 World Cup. The Scaloni-led national team is the seventh team to qualify for the intercontinental competition. The other six are Iran, which qualified yesterday, Japan, New Zealand and the three host countries Canada, Mexico and the United States. There are therefore 41 national teams that have yet to qualify.
