Milan, 27 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘In the last few days, unfounded rumours have circulated on social networks and in the press about the personal life of our client, Mr Guillermo Maripán. Given his total lack of support and in line with the professionalism that has characterised him throughout his career, both as a national team player and in the various clubs in which he has played successfully in Chile and Europe, he has chosen to concentrate and focus on his ongoing commitment to the Chilean national football team and its qualification process’. This is what we read in a letter signed by the lawyers of the Torino footballer Guillermo Maripán, published on his social media profiles, regarding the accusations of having spread intimate videos of his ex-girlfriend, the Chilean influencer Carmen Castillo. ‘Having concluded his participation in this qualifying round today,’ it continues, “he has provided us with all the basic information that categorically and decisively refutes the false accusations made against him. We have also been instructed to initiate any legal action against those responsible for the damage caused to him, attacking and undermining his personal and professional prestige, damaging his reputation with unacceptable falsehoods”.
