Rome, 29 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘I called President Facci, he claims that he apologised to Parrini and that it was misunderstood. I'm not a judge, it would be a glaring error for the Coni president to enter into the matter. This morning the Attorney General of the CONI, Prefect Ugo Taucer, has already opened a dynamic regarding his competences and responsibilities. Then there is the issue of expediency, ethical and media aspects. It is not for me to judge alone, but there is a collective body, with all that that implies. Consequently, the right considerations and assessments will be made'. These are the words of Coni president Giovanni Malagò responding to the interceptions released this morning concerning a telephone conversation two years ago between the then president of Federginnastica, Gherardo Tecchi, and the current number one Andrea Facci, on the gymnastics case and the alleged abuses reported by some former athletes.
