Rome, 3rd Mar. (LaPresse) – Lazio pays tribute to Sister Paola, the religious fan of the white and blue team who passed away last Tuesday at the age of 77. At around 3.15 pm a delegation made up of coach Marco Baroni and players Adam Marusic, Nicolò Rovella, Luca Pellegrini and Valentin Castellanos, went to the Protomoteca hall of the Campidoglio, where the funeral parlour for Sister Paola had been set up, and joined the family and friends in paying their respects and saying their final farewells. Marusic placed a shirt signed by all the players with the number 1 and the words ‘Suor Paola’ next to the coffin of the nun (whose funeral will be held tomorrow in Ponte Milvio). A delegation from Lazio Women was also present. Lazio president Claudio Lotito was expected to attend.
