English: Milan, April 3 (LaPresse) – Federica Brignone, who fell during the second run of the women’s giant slalom at the Italian Championships held at Alpe Lusia (Trento), underwent a CT scan at the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, which revealed a comminuted fracture of the tibial plateau and the head of the fibula in her left leg. This was announced by the Fisi, explaining that the Fisi Medical Commission is closely monitoring the condition of the Aosta Valley champion and has arranged for her transfer to the 'La Madonnina' clinic in Milan, where additional radiological exams will be completed and the surgical path will be determined.
