Rome, 6 Apr (LaPresse) – After a first half of substantial parity, the balance was broken in the 50th minute when an own goal by Gallo gave Venezia the lead after a venomous shot by Gytkjaer. The Lagooners' superiority lasted only a quarter of an hour, however, and in the 65th minute Lecce found the equaliser with a goal from Baschirotto on the development of a corner. The end was agitated on both sides but at the triple whistle of referee Piccinini the two teams had to be content with a point each. Lecce at the moment remain out of the relegation zone with 26 points and +3 from Empoli, who have to play at home against Cagliari, while Venezia remain in the penultimate position with 21 points and -5 from the salentini at the moment saved.
