Milan, 8 Apr (LaPresse) – Matteo Berrettini's victory over Alexander Zverev at the Atp Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo is also a nice present for his friend Jannik Sinner. The South Tyrolean tennis player, in fact, with the defeat of the German player in the second round of the Monegasque tournament is now mathematically certain to re-enter the circuit as World No. 1 again. Sinner will therefore be the first seed at the Internazionali d'Italia in Rome, the very tournament that will sanction his return to competition after his three-month suspension for the clostebol case.
