Milan, April 18 (LaPresse) – A red light for Luciano Darderi in the quarterfinals of the BMW Open by Bitpanda (ATP 500 – €2,500,000 prize pool) in Munich. The Italian-Argentine tennis player, ranked No. 47 in the world, succumbed to the power and unpredictability of Ben Shelton, world No. 15 and second seed, who won in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. In the semifinals, the American will now face Argentine Francisco Cerundolo (5), who defeated Belgian veteran David Goffin 6-2, 6-4.
