Milan, April 20 (LaPresse) – "We’ve made great progress since the beginning of the year, and now we’re very determined to take Atalanta to the Champions League for the fifth time in seven years. Ederson is a great midfielder, with physical strength, ball recovery ability, and the capacity to get forward. He’s an extraordinary player. I’m surprised he hasn’t played for Brazil yet." This is what Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini said, commenting on Atalanta’s 1-0 victory over Milan at San Siro on Rai2's 'Domenica Sportiva'. "Between me and President Percassi, there is a solid relationship, based on great respect. Now, we’re focused on reaching the Champions League goal, then Atalanta will move forward and grow. The ownership has also changed… it might be right for things to move forward in a different way," Gasperini added, without dispelling doubts about his future at the helm of 'La Dea'.
