Milan, 26 April (LaPresse) – Bayern Munich is getting closer to winning the German championship for the 34th time in its history. Vincent Kompany's team beat Mainz 3-0 today in the 31st round of the Bundesliga, maintaining an eight-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen with three games to go. Bayern need only a draw against RB Leipzig in the next round to win the Meisterschale. Sanel Olise and Dier scored against Mainz. In the other afternoon matches, Leverkusen kept their hopes of a comeback alive by beating Augsburg 2-0. Borussia Dortmund also won 3-2 away at Hoffenheim, while Kiel beat Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-3. Finally, Freiburg won 1-0 away at Wolfsburg.
