Rome, Apr 30 (LaPresse) – New Lakers star Luka Doncic has stepped in to cover the entire cost of restoring a mural of Kobe and Gigi Bryant that was recently defaced in downtown Los Angeles. On Tuesday, according to The Guardian, Doncic donated $5,000 to a GoFundMe fundraiser set up by artist Louie Palsino, creator of the Mambas Forever work at the corner of 14th Street and Main Street. ‘It's always important to give something back to the community. They have given me so much, so I just want to give something back,’ Doncic said. The Slovenian guard arrived in LA after a trade from Dallas less than three months ago and has already helped lead the Lakers to the Division title and the third seed in the West. But with LA down 3-1 against Minnesota, the team faces elimination in game five on Wednesday night.
