Rome, 15 May (LaPresse) – It's all about the balls. For Germany's Alexander Zverev, one of the reasons for his defeat against Lorenzo Musetti in the quarter-finals of the Internazionali is linked to the size of the balls, which he believes are not the same as those usually used in other tournaments. "The balls were a joke. They say we play with the same ones in Monte Carlo, Madrid and Munich. Then we come here and the balls are completely different. They are very big. It's difficult to hit winners here,‘ said Zverev, who then attacked Musetti: ’It depends a lot on his defence. It depends a lot on his opponents' mistakes." Zverev complained several times during the match against the Italian and added fuel to the fire at the end of the match that prevented him from defending the title he won last year.
