Rome, May 15 (LaPresse) – With a near-perfect performance, Jannik Sinner has reached the semifinals of the Internazionali d’Italia, his best career result at the Foro Italico. The world number one dominated the match against Norway’s Casper Ruud, ranked seventh in the ATP rankings, taking the first set 6–0 in just 28 minutes, conceding only seven points. He then closed out the second set 6–1, wrapping up the match in one hour and five minutes. Sinner will face American Tommy Paul tomorrow evening on Center Court for a spot in the final.
