Turin, May 20 (LaPresse) – Marco Verratti appears to have decided to acquire around 40% of Pescara Calcio. The daily newspaper Il Centro reported this morning. The midfielder from Manoppello, who has played for the Italian national team, PSG, and of course Pescara, is currently playing for Al Arabi, a Qatari club based in Doha. The deal is not yet official, but an announcement could come soon, as negotiations between the 32-year-old and president Daniele Sebastiani seem to be at an advanced stage. "Marco Verratti kept his word," reads the article, which recalls the player's "declaration of love" for Pescara: "Before I retire, I think I'll return to play for Pescara. I'll do it for my friends and my family. In the meantime, I always watch the Biancazzurri's matches on TV."
