Turin, 21 May (LaPresse) – Matteo Arnaldi is in the quarter-finals of the Gonet Geneva Open (ATP 250 on clay in Geneva – prize money €596,035). The Italian, ranked 39th in the world and eighth seed, defeated Hungary's Fabian Marozsan (ranked 56th) 6-3, 7-6 (6). His opponent in the quarter-finals could once again be his childhood idol Novak Djokovic (No. 6, beaten in two sets in Madrid), provided that the Serbian defeats Marton Fucsovics (No. 134, champion in Geneva in 2018) in his opening match.
