Rome, 25 May (LaPresse) – The Premier League season has come to an end and the final verdicts are in on which English teams will participate in the next Champions League. In addition to champions Liverpool and Arsenal (second in the table), Manchester City (third after a 2-0 win at Fulham), Chelsea (fourth after a 1-0 away win at Nottingham) and Newcastle, despite a 1-0 home defeat to Everton, have all qualified for Europe's premier competition. Aston Villa were denied a place in the Champions League, finishing the season on 66 points, the same as Newcastle, but only qualifying for the Europa League. Nottingham Forest (seventh) will play in the Conference. Below are all the results from the final day of the Premier League: Bournemouth-Leicester 2-0; Fulham-Manchester City 0-2; Ipswich-West Ham 1-3; Liverpool-Crystal Palace 1-1; Manchester United-Aston Villa 2-0; Newcastle-Everton 0-1; Nottingham-Chelsea 0-1; Southampton-Arsenal 1-2; Tottenham-Brighton 1-4; Wolves-Brentford 1-1.
