Rome, May 28 (LaPresse) – "Following the sudden unavailability of goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario due to physical reasons, head coach Luciano Spalletti has called up player Marco Carnesecchi (Atalanta) for the training camp scheduled for Saturday, May 31, which will precede the two national team matches against Norway and Moldova, valid as qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup." This was announced by the Italian Football Federation in a statement. "Carnesecchi returns to the list of call-ups after one year and three months, having previously been part of the March 2024 American tour, which included friendlies against Venezuela and Ecuador," concludes the FIGC.
