Milan, June 1 (LaPresse) – Cremonese won the Serie B playoffs against Spezia with a 3-2 victory, earning promotion back to Serie A. Giovanni Stroppa's team achieved the feat at the Picco Stadium. After a balanced start, Cremonese took the lead in the 25th minute with De Luca, who also hit the crossbar. In the second half, the visitors doubled their lead with Collocolo in the 63rd minute. De Luca scored again to make it 3-0 in the 79th minute, but Spezia tried to mount a comeback in just one minute. Goals from Esposito in the 84th and Vignali in the 85th weren't enough for D’Angelo’s team, who missed out on promotion.
