We’ve been honest, and we mutually decided to end this magnificent journey.” This is the farewell message from Simone Inzaghi following the decision to part ways with Inter, communicated this afternoon to the club’s top management. “It’s time for me to say goodbye to this Club after a four-year journey during which I gave everything,” he admitted. “Every day, my first and last thought was dedicated to Inter. I was repaid with professionalism and passion by the players, directors, and every single employee of the club. The six trophies we won – including the Second Star Scudetto – and our Champions League run in 2023 and just a few days ago, are tangible proof of how much my work was supported by shared goals with my staff and everyone at Inter.” The coach concluded by addressing “one last word to the millions of Inter fans who supported me, cried and suffered in the tough times, and laughed and celebrated during the six triumphs we experienced together. I will never forget you.”
