Milan, June 11 (LaPresse) – Cagliari Calcio “is pleased to announce that Fabio Pisacane has been appointed as the new head coach of the first team. The coach has signed a contract with the Rossoblù Club until June 30, 2026, with an automatic extension for an additional season upon meeting certain sporting conditions.”
Born in Naples, 39 years old, Pisacane played over 430 professional matches during his career, more than 150 of which were with Cagliari. He arrived in Sardinia in the summer of 2015 and played six seasons in the Rossoblù jersey, contributing to the team’s immediate return to Serie A—winning the second division title—and maintaining top-flight status in the following five seasons.
