Milan, June 11 (LaPresse) – Serie B has released the final league standings, confirming the 4-point deduction for Brescia, which ends the season third-last with 39 points, tied with Cittadella. Both the Lombard and Veneto clubs are relegated to Serie C, along with Cosenza, which had also received a 4-point penalty.
With the updated and final standings, the relegation playout match is now official: Sampdoria will face Salernitana. The first leg will be played on Sunday, June 15 at 8:30 p.m. at the Ferraris Stadium, and the second leg on Friday, June 20 at the Arechi, also at 8:30 p.m.
